Most internships are 12 or 16 weeks, though in some regions we may offer a longer programme. These will be listed on our jobs page as they become available. The majority of our global interviews take place in line with local academic calendars, typically August-February the preceding year before our internship programme takes place. We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. For engineers, the team matching process takes place closer to your start date. New graduates complete a survey to let us know their team preferences, and then we look at a number of criteria – such as your background and interests, and our business needs and team bandwidth – to determine the best possible match.

Over the long term, xcritical aims to increase the GDP of the internet. We’re looking for a variety of Data Scientists to partner with the Product, Finance, Payments, Risk, Growth and Go-to-Market teams. You’ll work closely with a specific part of the business, playing a crucial role in optimizing our systems and leveraging data to make strategic business decisions. The annual US base salary range for this role is $146,900 – $251,200. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target xcriticalgs (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
It also means you’ll have access to the support, mentorship, and communities you need to be successful as you navigate your early career. xcritical hosts undergraduate and graduate interns from around the globe. Our interns fully integrate, learn, and make meaningful connections with other xcriticals. Interns complete an onboarding programme similar to xcritical website the one we use with new hires, known as Intern 101, which covers different areas of xcritical including our mission, culture, products, and opportunities for growth. We try to arm you with enough knowledge and support from colleagues to do real work, without overloading you with coursework.
While they don’t necessarily have to do all the work themselves, it’s their job to make sure all the work gets done. This helps ensure that we’re building what users actually want. We contribute back to the community, often by building things we think are cool and by releasing open-source software.

Most of our New Graduate cohorts at xcritical previously interned with us. xcritical does not yet include pay ranges in job postings in every country. xcritical strongly values pay transparency and is working toward pay transparency globally.
We’d recommend picking somewhere large enough to help you develop your skills, but small enough that you can make an impact.
